Dog-Friendly Wineries

Bringing your dog to the Yarra Valley wineries is possible as a few places do allow pets on their properties and in outdoor seating areas of cafes. Dogs must be on-leash.

This is fabulous as there are some good dog walking tracks in the Valley and if you need to let your dog have a run before getting there, the Lilydale Lake off-lead dog area is good. Up in the Dandenong Ranges, a lot of trails are open to dog walking too.

Winery Tours with Dogs

Gourmet Paw Prints is a tour company with a BIG difference as they cater to pet owners, which is lovely…

“Bella the dog welcoming bus will chauffeur you to some of the great wine regions of Victoria. There is a seat for you and your dog and all you have to do is sit back, pop your paws up and relax and enjoy our Dog-Friendly Experiences. Each tour is handcrafted and includes a pooch massage and movie over lunch from our professional Dog Carers. Whether you are coming on your own or with a group of friends we will take care of everything from pampering the dogs to holding a lead while you sip your wine. We meet in Port Melbourne for some essential sniff and social time before getting comfy on Bella who greets you with a climate-controlled cabin, human and doggy seat belts, blankets, gift bags and of course the pooches get the window seat. With Bella’s magnificent large windows, it is the pawfect vantage point to take in the beautiful scenery of Victoria – window licking encouraged!”
