Located close to the St Kilda beach, the old wooden roller coaster has one of the best views in Melbourne, looking out over Port Phillip Bay and across to the city skyline.
Ride the oldest continually operating roller coaster of its kind in the world!
Just as exhilarating as it was back at its opening in 1912, the Scenic Railway roller coaster continues to operate as the iconic heart of Luna Park. For over a century Melburnians and tourists have had fun at this charming little theme park. It may not be the biggest in the country, but the history and fun that can be had at Luna Park still makes it worthy of its status as one of Melbourne’s most famous landmarks.
